A master’s degree student in government contracts at George Washington University, Lisette Wyno-Brough leads as chief operating officer (COO) of WFSS, Inc., a defense contractor and military training company she founded with her father in 2006. Under the direction of Tony Wyno, Lisette Wyno-Brough, WFSS has expanded to a team of 25 employees while providing cutting-edge combat training in a realistic environment to a range of military troops, with specific expertise in the air defense sector.
In her leadership role with WFSS, Lisette Wyno-Brough guides all aspects of daily operations, including marketing, finance, sales, and IT. She also collaborates with the rest of the executive team to establish the firm’s strategic vision while overseeing business responsibilities such as reviewing contracts, evaluating performance using advanced metrics, and coordinating relationships with third-party vendors and contractors.
Lisette Wyno-Brough draws upon extensive military experience as she has been groomed by her Father Tony Wyno who served 31 years in the Army and retired as a Command Sergeant Major in Air Defense. Prior roles as a family readiness support assistant with U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery battalions, having attended field missions, previously served as vice president of the Rio Grande chapter for the Society of Industrial Security Professionals and regularly attends the organization’s local and national meetings has aided towards her success.
