Lindsey Karls (Illinois)

An enthusiastic international traveler, Lindsey Karls of Illinois has visited destinations across Europe. She has explored France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Great Britain has also journeyed to South America and the Caribbean. Lindsey Karls of Illinois also enjoys learning about the governments and laws of countries across the world, and so she closely follows international politics.

Ms. Karls holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she focused her studies in international relations. She maintained active membership in the International Law Society and studied abroad at St. Edmunds College and Oxford University as well as in Arcachon, France, and Cairo, Egypt.

Also a research assistant for the College of Law, Ms. Karls researched curriculum and available coursework for students seeking an LLM. She reviewed case law and provided a number of support services for textbook development, including chapter editing and the locating of relevant cases. Responsible for researching historical precedent of a law review article, she authored a number of memoranda related to case articles dating to 1890.
