A corporate attorney with more than three decades of experience, Linda Filardi draws upon international experience gained through leadership positions with organizations such as Donna Karan International, Skadden Arps, and Antares Capital LP. For 15 years, she held senior and executive counsel roles with GE Capital in multiple global locations. As senior counsel in the company’s Tokyo headquarters, Linda Filardi provided both in-country and cross-border guidance on commercial capital operations throughout Asia. She later joined GE Capital in New York as the executive counsel, leveraged finance and marketing.
Currently, Linda Filardi serves as a senior director and an associate general counsel for Capital One in New York. As the lead attorney for an $18 billion portfolio spanning multiple Capital One businesses, she leverages her international experience to design cross-border processes for foreign lending while serving as the lead lawyer for the company’s investment committee.
Linda Filardi graduated magna cum laude from the Seton Hall University School of Law, where she served as the notes and comments editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. She also holds an MA in international affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a BA in political science and government from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.
