Platypus Craft is a french company founded in 2009, specialized in design, development and commercialization of innovative watercrafts that are dedicated to Leisure activity, Shipyard and Military market. Our first inovation « Platypus » is a revolutionary concept that opens a new diving dimension with a semi submersible watercraft allowing to navigate on or under the water. The French-designed Platypus is a new and immensely practical two-person electric underwater exploration concept designed to travel for eight hours above the water fromt 13 to 20.5 knots (24.5 - 38 km/h), or below the water from 3 to 4 knots (5.5 - 7.5 km/h). Most importantly, it offers a safe and stable below-water platform that requires no operating equipment to be worn by the pilot or passenger other than masks because the pontoons contain an integrated compressor which supplies air via hoses.
Since 2016, Platypus Craft is certified by the Atlantic Ocean Center (Pole Mer Atlantique) as part of initaitive SMEs - innovative project
