Habitat for Humanity to Host Golf Tournament

A resident of North Palm Beach, Florida, Lee Chimerakis served as a senior vice president with a major global Wall Street investment firm before retiring in early 2018. Dedicated to helping others, Lee Chimerakis is an ambassador for the Honda Classic professional golf tournament and supports local charities funded by the event. Recently, he and other Honda Classic ambassadors volunteered with the nonprofit Habitat for Humanity in order to build a home in Palm Beach County.

The Palm Beach County chapter of Habitat for Humanity will host its 12th Annual “Home-in-One” Golf Classic from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 12, 2019. The golf tournament will be held at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. Tickets are $375 per person. For more information about the event, visit www.habitatpbc.org.

Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County works with families in need to construct affordable homes. Over the course of more than 30 years, Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County has constructed more than 200 homes and repaired over 80 others. Families must devote at least 400 hours of sweat equity before they can purchase a home.
