Course followed : Business Analysis and Valuation
This course introduces the valuation techniques used by analysts – in corporate finance, equity research, fund management, and strategy consulting – in order to value stocks and firms. It shows how to use financial statements, and more generally business analysis, in order to generate expectations of future performance. It furthermore shows how the value of a stock or a firm in an efficient market reflects expectations of future performance.
Following this Summer Course at one of the most renowned universities in the world (the LSE was ranked #3 in the world for the study of Accounting and Finance in 2014 by QS Top Universities Guide) has provided me a strong knowledge in Accounting and Financial principles.

During my internship, I worked in the Equity & Debt Capital Markets Department. I assisted a team of professionals on various M&A and Debt Issuance deals.
I performed market research, financial analysis, drafting parts of information memoranda and presentations, and valuations. I also had the opportunity to participate in client meetings.
I developed a full financial analysis that was used to assess which strategic choice should be made in order to increase the capacity of the company. The document that I prepared was shared with the Board members of the firm.
I worked on the project Deloitte Vision 2020. My role was to support the development of the Deloitte Consulting Belgium strategy for 2020.In this context, my responsibilities were as follows:- Support the core team in the coordination of the various streams that form the strategy- Develop and manage communications with stream leads, Service Lines, and the entire practice- Prepare and actively attend meetings with the various stakeholders of the strategy- Contribute to brainstorms and content production sessions for the development of the Consulting Belgium Strategy Document- Record actions, decisions and rick during meetings and follow up on these.By the end of my internship, we developed at Strategy Document that was shared at EMEA-level.
