Company Description
Since 1928, Solios Chemical has been developing Proabd® processes for tailor made Coal Tar Distillation to meet customer’s needs and requirements.
Till the 50’s, all chemical products were issued from carbochemical activities, and the Proabd® processes for Melt Static Crystallization (MSC) were first used for the purification of coal tar derivatives such as naphthalene or anthracene.
Starting 1950, the petrochemical products were widely developed, followed by other chemical specialties. Over the years, Proabd® MSC has been extended to various applications such as purification of petrochemicals, fine chemicals, agrochemicals or pharmaceuticals intermediates.
All plants are first studied in the laboratory: feed characterization, test of the process in home equipments between 50ml and pilot scale, final products characterization. If carbcochemistry is an old chemistry welle known, purification by cristallization is more inventive each time.
