  • Reporting to Regional Director. Mrs. Varela Fallas was entrusted with brand protection responsibilities entailing the continuing oversight of quality standards and effective service that define UPS in the logistics space.
  • Day to day tasks involved planning, implementing and ongoing refinement and assessment of employee relations. Human resource policies needed also to comply with company standards and laws and regulations in each jurisdiction being overseen by Mrs. Varela Fallas.
    Key projects included establishing ongoing recruiting guidelines and skill testing parameters. Yet another responsibility was to provide managers with the tools to better access talented resources; support skill development and apply in fair and just fashion disciplinary measures. This responsibility was discharged through coaching and guidance.
