  • My primary role is to project manage to completion new product introductions (NPI) leading to the successful validation and start of production (SOP) of catalyst systems that meet the require performance, quality standards, and customer timings and requirement in the manufacturing plants.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Organising project kick-off and review meetings to ensure customer deadlines are respected and the company delivers robust products on time with customer milestones.
    • Building strategic working relationships with Renault Nissan and suppliers to maximise chances of success for each product launch.
    • Follow up latest status of current introductions and make sure last minute changes and unexpected challenges don't jeopardise customer delivery.
  • Achievements are:
    • Introduction of 40 new parts in our plants of Macedonia and Royston meeting customer delivery deadline despite last minute designs changes from customers.
    • Improvement of internal communication and speed up of our process with our plant in Macedonia. Regular catch-up with Macedonia team and lessons learns applied.
    • Tracker tools updated to be able to focus on high risks introductions and supervise all different tasks to achieve deliveries of the product.
  • In charge of sales globally for Automotive Sensors (Europe, Asia, North America) Responsible for all major OEM customers. I handle and respond to multiple quotes per week. The quotes need to be handled in a timely and professional way ensuring both internal and external customer needs are met. Within the automotive team there are more than 40 account managers, I ensure I am in regular contact with them to discuss customer requirements and maintain up to date pricing and volumes of current projects:
  • Responsibilities Include:
    • Responding to quotations with the team: Leading meetings to set deadlines and delegating tasks. Tracking status of all pending quotes and following them up to the completion.
    • Marketing research for two wheelers business: analysing market opportunities and setting a plan to increase sales both with existing customers and selling our product to new customers.
    • Managing prices for annual negotiations with customers
    • Handling sales budget for the 5 year forecasts for the Sensor division
    • Maintaining planning volumes with manufacturing plants ensuring customers volumes can be achieved
    • Responsible for keeping records of R&D and tooling payments from customers
  • Achievements are:
    • Meeting 100% New Business Acquisition targets
    • Improving quote process resulting in faster quote return and improvement in communication internally
    • Maintaining pricing on parts ensuring profitability whilst meeting customers saving requirements
  • For my second year in Continental I was nominated as a high performing candidate and was given the opportunity to relocate to work in the UK sales office.     • Negotiating no reduction in R&D budget with Ford as the previous year after reduction proposal from the customer.
  • Continental is a worldwide automotive supplier. I was in the sales team providing Gasoline and diesel engines to Ford. As a Sales coordinator I was supporting volume forecast for Europe sales and helping for the budget:
  • Reducing overdues for Europe plants: the 2014 objective was 2% and we managed 1%
  • Planning and monitoring R&D cash reimbursement for 2014 and 2015.
