Laura McQuade is a multi-level C-Suite visionary leader holding positions as CEO, COO, and CFO. She has a proven track record in re-envisioning and transforming organizations across many sectors, most recently in change management in the healthcare sector. She has a deep, lifelong commitment to women, girls and all underserved communities around the globe seeking self-determination and the ability to live their fullest lives. Most recently, Laura became owner of The White Gown, a boutique bridal salon in New York City, to help support women through their dream weddings.
In July 2020, Laura launched Airmedh Consulting, a strategic consulting firm that provides advisory services and interim leadership within the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Laura is the Former President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY), a merged Planned Parenthood affiliate comprised of five legacy New York State affiliates that includes Planned Parenthood of New York City for which Laura was President and CEO since June 2017.
Acted as the President’s second-in-command to provide leadership and vision for the Center and direction to organization-wide strategic and annual planning, priority-setting and decision-making, in order to promote the success of all programs and the interdepartmental coordination of cross-institutional initiatives.
Established and directed the organization-wide long-term strategic planning process every five years, working in consultation with the President, the Board of Directors, Department Directors and staff. Completed a year-long planning process for the 2012-2017 Strategic Plan.
Managed the design and implementation of a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan to measure organization-wide program impact and report annually to the Board.
Developed and managed multi-year/annual budgets and program implementation plans to support Strategic Plan priorities.
Managed all internal operations for the Center, which in 2014 had a budget of $22M, 6 offices, and a staff of more than 120; this included development, communications, finance, human resources, administration and information technology, as well as the Center’s growth through strategic and annual planning.
Managed a Finance, Administration, and IT staff of 18, a Development Staff of 10, and a Communications staff of 14, as well as maintained dotted-line managerial responsibility for three Program Directors and their teams.
Managed and staffed the Governance and Finance/Audit Committees of the Board of Directors.
Partnered with the President/CEO and Chair of the Governance Committee to recruit new Board members
