Paris Business College - INSEEC

September 1992 to June 1996
Details and Extracurriculars
  • The Paris Business College (formerly known as the MBA Institute) was founded in 1982 by the IPESUP group to create a unique educational institution with a curriculum similar to that of an American liberal arts college. It is a truly international school in the heart of Paris where the majority of classes are taught in English by a highly qualifi ed and predominately American faculty.

The Paris Business College offers a 3-year undergraduate INSEEC Bachelor degree that usually begins after the completion of the Baccalauréat (equivalent to a high school diploma) though admittance to the INSEEC Bachelor program is also possible in either the 2nd or 3rd year under certain conditions. Moreover, students may take an additional 20 ECTS credits per year in order to graduate with a BBA (Bac+4) and therefore be eligible to apply directly to any one of the MSc & MBA programs offered by the INSEEC Group.

In addition, the students will spend part of each academic year abroad at no additional tuition costs, when they study at the INSEEC Group campuses in London and Chicago. The continuity of the coursework and the recruitment of local professors are strictly monitored by the Paris Business College Pedagogical Committee.

As an integral part of the INSEEC Group, the Paris Business College can thus take full advantage of that synergy by access to its 38,000-strong alumni network or its other academic programs, including eligibility to the 2nd year entrance exam of the INSEEC Business School.

The slogan of the Paris Business College - « Where Business Meets Liberal Arts » - defines a vision that is reflected in a well-rounded curriculum that is in tune with today’s business climate. Besides classic technical business subjects such as Marketing, Finance, Economics and Law, one will also fi nd classes in Public Speaking, Geopolitics, American Business Culture and Ethics in International Business.

From the very beginning, the backbone of the Paris Business College has been its commitment to preparing students to obtain an MBA from a top American or international program. Since the highest-ranked programs all require at least 4 years of professional experience before considering an applicant, we have established the GMAT Center to provide the continuity our alumni require to be admitted into one of the Top 50 programs worldwide.
