Having earned a bachelor of laws degree from the University of Western Ontario, Mr. Kyle Seeback now serves as a mediator in the Greater Toronto Area. Helping his clients resolve issues without the expense of trials, Mr. Kyle Seeback mediates marriage dissolutions and other conflict-laden issues. Additionally, he advises people on conducting municipal and provincial political campaigns.
Prior to opening Seeback Mediation in 2019, he represented Brampton in the House of Commons of Canada’s Parliament for four-and-a-half years. The Conservative Party member was part of the Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development and the Justice and Human Rights committees. Mr. Seeback addressed the concerns of some 232,000 residents of his district, the largest in the nation.
Mr. Seeback began his legal career at the firm of Simmons, DaSilva & Sinton in Brampton. He examined legal precedents as predictors of trial outcomes, argued cases, and engaged in complex negotiations.
He is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario and has been certified by the University of Windsor Law School. In his collegiate years, Mr. Seeback swam for the Canadian national team and was ranked in the world’s top 16 swimmers in 1989. He also likes to coach hockey and is an aficionado of Cervelo road bikes.
