Learn to deal with high intensity work with a lot of different tasks to deal with simultaniously. We have trips with up to 99 passengers that expect high class service, good food and drinks.I work both in the kitchen, in the bar, as a waitress, I clean (before, during and after events), as well as other tasks for the boats' daily operations. I enjoy working in a hectic environment with diverse work tasks!
I know that I work well with people and know how to deliever excellent service. This is also something that I enjoy.
Working on a boat also requires a lot of responsibility in terms of security. I need to have good knowledge about how to deal with emergency situations and also where all the lifewests are, the lifeboats, alarms, emergency exits, etc.

As a salesperson in a clothing store my work day includes a variety of tasks, most important helping customers and be service minded. Additionally, I help to keep the store nice and clean as well as small duties like making phone calls, answering e-mails, closing, etc.

In charge of keeping and strengthening the CEMS network in Bergen. Arranged events to connect the CEMS Alumni, corporate relations and CEMS Club Bergen cohort.

Having the role of project manager at this completely new event was a challenge as there were no previous experience nor mentoring. We were a small group of people doing a lot in short time, making the learning curve rather steep. Increadible fun experience which I gained valuable insights in the start-up environment as well as how it is to lead a group under high uncertainties.

Detailed Description

As members of Start NHH, a group of 5 people including me took initiative to build a new concept at NHH, to increase the interest of innovation and entrepreneurship at the school. I took the role as project manager, and had the overall responsibility for all planning. the event went over all expectations and will continue as a yearly event.

I worked for a short-time project at DnB, where I am to inform equity funds customers about a new savings account “Aksjesparekonto”. With this job I got new experience from a different industry as well as I enhanced my sales- and service-skills by talking to customers throughout the workday.

Same tasks as for VIC Horisont. This job gave me the new job at VIC Horisont. The gap between these jobs is because of my semester abroad studying at Santa Barbara City College in the USA. I have gotten great distinction to my sales and service skills, and also my effectiveness and productivity at work.

Had a variety of different tasks, I sat in the counter, stored groceries, cleaned the store, helped customers, etc. This was my first real job which taught me to earn my own money and my first skills within service, working with others in the work life and basic knowledge about salary, etc.
