A retired school administrator with more than 20 years of educational leadership experience, Kieran Stack most recently served as assistant principal of Brewster High School, where he oversaw a student body of 1,200 as well as 120 staff members. Primarily operating under the belief that the foundation for a solid education is based on real-world experience, Kieran Stack organized several special projects and events for students in close relationship with Putnam County Community Cares and other community partners. He was also responsible for mentoring and assessing the performance of educators and other staff members.
Kieran Stack's prior leadership experience in education includes assistant principal roles with Henry H. Wells Middle School and Sacred Heart High School. He began his work with the latter as a business teacher and managed the business enterprise program, which provided students with hands-on experience as they learned about the stock market, real estate, and the nonprofit sector. He also regularly encouraged the senior class to participate in fundraising initiatives for local charities. Mr. Stack holds an MBA and a bachelor of business administration from Iona College, where he was an All-American steeplechase athlete. He was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 2001.
