  • Completed the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme; taught me how to cope in a challenging environment with limited resources
  • Delegate at the East African Model United Nations program; educated me in countering and tackling global issues
  • Conducted the ‘Stand Up Speak Out’ campaign and raised around 1.35 million Kenyan Shillings
  • Started a Green initiative at school involving recycling; used the proceeds to paint classrooms in rural areas
  • Volunteered for 3 years at the UK universities fair held in Kenya
