A former director of recruiting and audit manager at Ernst & Young (EY), Kevin J. Carr of Burlington, Iowa, worked in multiple offices, including Washington, DC, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During his time at the firm, he audited several Fortune 500 companies, such as Sprint and United Telecommunications. Kevin J. Carr joined the firm as one of three individuals selected across the country to take part in a unique residency program in 1982, the same year he graduated from Truman State University, where he served as president of the Business Administration Club.
Following his tenure at EY, Mr. Carr transitioned to the insurance industry and served as co-general manager of Paul Revere Insurance Company in Cedar Rapids. He remained with the company for seven years and helped it achieve the top spot among national agencies twice during his tenure. Since leaving the insurance industry, he has taken on a position in higher education as chief financial officer and vice president of administrative services at Southeastern Community College.
