Professional Practice in my 1st year of International Trade Degree, in Tiruppur (India) where I worked as a Manager/Team Leader in one of the factories of the company Admiral Fashion Pvt Ltd, in charge of a team 33 workers. I signed 4 new European customers, monitored the production and productivity level and ensured the quality checks and shipment of the goods. Led to a 40% turnover increased the year 2011.
During this practice I had to complete the following tasks :
Identification and selection actual and potential markets for the company.
Prospection of new clients and suppliers.
Rebuilt of the communication strategy.
Management of the existing clients and networks.
Management of the factory and workers and control of the site production.
Inspection and control of the company partners' production.
It was a completely rewarding experience for me, I had the chance to put into practice my knowledge in Management, in Business Negotiation and Communication. I even learned to speak the basics of Tamil and had the freedom to decide on a strategy for the company development and relations with Europe. I proved as well a great capacity to adapt myself in this country and managed to express my ideas over meetings in this intercultural context.
