Karun Sreerama

The head of a community-centered venture capital firm, Karun Sreerama maintains a license as a registered professional engineer in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Focused on helping incubate, guide, and manage companies that make a measurable difference, Karun Sreerama’s firm, The Asset Management Consultants, excels in enabling startups to complete the initial growth cycle.

Dr. Sreerama’s community involvement has included taking on a founding-member role with the Houston Mayor’s International Affairs Development Council for South Asian Affairs. In this capacity, he has facilitated links between Asian commerce groups and companies and the Houston region. He also served as president and director of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Houston.

Originally from India, Dr. Sreerama holds a civil engineering bachelor’s degree and pursued post-graduate engineering studies at the University of Roorkee, where he earned a University Gold Medal. He subsequently undertook engineering studies in the UK through a prestigious Cambridge-Nehru Scholarship at the University of Cambridge. During this time, Karun Sreerama was awarded status as a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society by Prince Charles.
