Maryland-based ophthalmologist Dr. K. Michelle Huzella continues her 20-year medical career as a physician with Bella Vision, LLC, and the Maryland Vision Institute. Dr. Huzella is the founder of Bella Vision. She treats patients privately and spends time volunteering her services to the community through Bella Vision. The Maryland Vision Institute offers services ranging from premium lenses for cataracts to blade-free LASIK surgery at its clinics in Hagerstown and Hancock. At all of these locations, Dr. K. Michelle Huzella has earned a reputation for combining her passions for people and medicine to provide high-quality care.

During the course of her career, Dr. Huzella has received numerous honors. While attending the State University of New York at Buffalo's School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and graduating magna cum laude, she earned a dean's letter of commendation for academic excellence; a membership award to the James A. Gibson Society for Excellence in Gross Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, and Neuroanatomy; and a Janet Glascow Citation from the American Women's Association for Scholastic Achievement. During her clinical training, she garnered an award for outstanding first-year resident and was named chief resident during her final year. Additionally, Dr. K. Michelle Huzella joined the nonprofit group EyeCare for America, which allows her to volunteer her services as an ophthalmologist to individuals in need.
