An avid traveler and former expatriate, Justina Helkov lived abroad in Paris for nearly a decade. She served as a commercial analyst for Poloco, through which she facilitated merchandising of Ralph Lauren boyswear and menswear. As Poloco's market share grew in Western Europe, Justina Helkov assisted in the opening of four menswear lines per year in markets such as London, Paris, and Munich. She ended her tenure having played a key role in the opening of the POLO Jeans location in London.

Justina Helkov came to this position following service as manager of the University of Hartford's Paris office. She joined the office as a graduate of the university's MBA program in international business, half of which was spent in Paris. She lived in Paris as an undergraduate as well, as part of Northeastern University’s International Cooperative program through which she earned a bachelor’s of science in international business.

Actively involved in both the local and the world community, Justina Helkov volunteers with a number of outreach organizations. She serves as part of a group of mothers that gathers monthly to cook meals and bring them to a shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. She participated in the AIDS Walk Atlanta and 5K Run, and volunteers with Books for Africa, where she prepares shipments of books for overseas.
