An experienced New York City lawyer, Justin Marrus holds a bachelor of science in criminal justice from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, and a juris doctor from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. During his college career, he worked summers as an associate with Heidell, Pittoni, Murphy and Bach, LLP, in Manhattan. Justin Marrus’s duties with this diverse commercial and general litigation law firm included assisting attorneys with issues that range from complex legal research and memo composition to witness depositions and overall case preparation.
Shortly after earning his law degree in 2011, Justin Marrus found employment as a senior assistant district attorney (ADA) with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York. Over his seven years as ADA, Mr. Marrus has interviewed thousands of civilians and law enforcement personnel with a distinct focus on witness credibility. He also personally tried more than 15 cases to verdict.
