√ Preparation of Daily Welding Plan and Activities. √ Checking of all Welding activities preparation. √ Managing records of Consumables and logistic preparation for welding activities. √ Checking of approved Weld Symbol Details on Shop Detailed Drawings. √ Checking of appropriate detailed scale usage for detailed enlargement of Structural Steel components as per approved drawings. √ Ensuring proper Cutting and Marking of Structural Steel components as per approved drawings. √ Ensuring correct Assembly / Installation as per approved drawings and procedures. √ Ensuring Edge Precision and Preparation. √ Checking and accepting tolerable deviation. √ Reviewing and Checking Welder’s Certificates. √ Reviewing Project Specifications. √ Reviewing applicable WPS in line with Project specifications and requirements. √ Preparation of Procedures and Specifications Quality Control Plan. √ Monitoring and record of NDT status. √ Planning of production activities. √ Final checking of Welding quality and dimension for release. √ Reviewing of NDT report. √ Preparing Weld Summary Sheet for Approval by Client and Third Party Inspectors. √ Recording of WPS, PQR and Material Certificates. √ Compiling and reviewing MDR submissions for internal, 2nd and 3rd party approval.
