Joseph Bisignano DVM

As a board-certified specialist in veterinary internal medicine, Joseph Bisignano, DVM, offers a variety of outpatient and inpatient services to patients at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. He treats diseases of the digestive, endocrine, immune, urinary, and metabolic systems, including diseases of the kidney and liver. Joseph Bisignano, DVM, draws on an in-depth knowledge of treatment and diagnostic procedures including abdominal ultrasounds and computed topography (CT) scans.

Joseph Bisignano, DVM, joined the staff at VCA West following completion of a one-year internship and subsequent three-year residency in his specialty. He earned his professional degree from Western University of Health Sciences, where he graduated as valedictorian and distinguished himself as recipient of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Award for Clinical Excellence. While working toward his degree, he served as a veterinary preceptor at the Wildlife Conservation and Immobilization center in South Africa and later at Dolphin Quest in Waikoloa, Hawaii. Dr. Bisignano continues to pursue his interest in travel and to date has visited more than 11 countries across four continents.
