Licensed as a marriage and family therapist, Dr. Jorge Galindo maintains an Irvine, California-based private practice in partnership with his wife, Miriam Galindo, Psy.D. His work focuses on forensic cases referred through the juvenile/criminal and family courts. Dr. Jorge Galindo and his wife evaluate and treat a variety of patients, including families who are navigating the divorce process and adolescents.
Dr. Jorge Galindo earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California, and completed a master’s degree in marriage and family counseling at Trinity College of Graduate Studies in Anaheim, California. Subsequently, he pursued doctoral studies at the University of Southern California and completed his doctorate at the California School of Professional Psychology (Alliant International University).
His past professional experience includes a position at Olive Crest Treatment and Residential Centers in Santa Ana, where he undertook case management and provided group, individual, and family therapy. In addition, the mental health professional completed a doctoral internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, where he assisted patients with bipolar spectrum disorders.
