About Me
An emerging psychology professional, Jordan Perzik maintains wide-ranging interests which complement his professional and academic pursuits. Mr. Perzik is particularly captivated by astronomy, and he has maintained a long affiliation with the Carnegie Institution for Science and that organization’s Mount Wilson Observatory. Over the years, Jordan Perzik has accumulated more than 100 hours on the observatory’s famous telescope, which was installed by the legendary astronomer George Ellery Hale. Perzik has studied cosmic objects such as galaxies, globular clusters, and protoplanetary nebulae. In addition to his exploration at the Mount Wilson Observatory, he participates with the Los Angeles Astronomical Society, Griffith Observatory, and Caltech Astronomy’s Palomar Observatory.

Jordan Perzik has other unique interests. These include finding progressive ways to protect our natural environment, preserving indigenous archaeological sites, and spearheading historical preservation efforts. In each of his pursuits, Mr. Perzik seeks ways to bring together disparate approaches that create new paradigms, a philosophy he applies to his work in the field of psychology. A doctoral student in clinical psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, Mr. Perzik is currently completing his doctoral practicum at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
