An accomplished business executive, John Teltsch is the general manager of Global Business Partners at IBM. Over the course of more than 30 years with the company, he has assumed roles of increasingly responsibility, serving as a leader in fields ranging from hardware, software and services sales to running European operations for IBM to the initial development IBM's global digital operations. In his current position, John Teltsch drives revenue from cloud service providers, independent software vendors, managed service providers and modern infrastructure providers. In addition, he connects more than 160,000 business partners around the world with opportunities across IBM’s global channel while developing IBM's Next Generation Ecosystem.
Prior to this role, Mr. Teltsch served the company in various leadership positions that included general manager of global enterprise and commercial sales. He also served as the vice president of software sales in Europe, where he consolidated operations among eight regions. In addition, he played an integral part in the formation of the company's digital call centers in his capacity as a business unit executive in Dallas. He graduated with a bachelor of science in economics and business administration from Spring Hill College in Alabama.
