Managed photo print creation desktop software (Kodak Create@Home) configuration and deployment for photo retail and print lab providers.
As commercialization manager (program manager), was responsible for ensuring all functional areas come together to deliver a final product. This meant working closely with development and testing teams as well as working with the client representatives, service, marketing, and other areas to ensure a successful product delivery from requirements definition through to product delivery.

Managed a B2C program for a new incident management system to handle services and support calls for consumer products. This involved schedule and communication coordination and status reporting for the business and the supporting IT organization as well as the vendor involved

As a member of the Ansel team:
Managed and supervised a team of software development and image science engineers to deliver several versions of an image enhancement and correction library of algorithms (core component of Kodak Perfect Touch). I also was responsible for several team improvement efforts that addressed quality, schedule predictability, and communication among other issues.

Key driver for the Cooler Tools effort:
Led team to provide software development tool recommendations and supporting information for the product development community while aligning activities to software CMM and CMMI expectations while staying within budget and reaching business unit objectives supporting their improvement efforts.

As member of the Kodak Creation Station development team:
Performed several development tasks and took leadership responsibility for the output services framework of an Macintosh-based imaging kiosk product (Creation Station) while meeting expectations and allowing the code base to be reused for related products; focused on page layout and display/print rendering using Apple's imaging architecture library QuickDraw GX

Performed quality assurance testing for Macintosh-based “automated image correction” software product meeting all expectations

Held several roles developing and supporting a custom MRP (materials requirements planning) system:
Promoted Artificial intelligence and knowledge-based systems as alternative solution to complex client problems and identified several application areas
Designed and implemented automated on-line batch processing review that alerted personnel of issues by dialing a pager and created on-line status for system users saving time and costs
Led a cross-organization team of analysts delivering improved mainframe time tracking system using DB2 database technology rather than IMS to supporting internal tracking and reporting needs, implementing several improvements and reducing internal labor costs.
