John Reiff has been practicing law for over 22 years in various areas. He was a contract attorney at Naval Air Systems Command in Crystal City, where he got his start. There he oversaw numerous contracts with major DOD contractors. From there, John Reiff worked at Bishop, Daneman and Reiff, a Baltimore-based law firm, as an attorney. He has practiced law in the Baltimore area ever since and currently works at the solely-owned Law Office of John Reiff.
His academic career started at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he received his BS in mechanical engineering. During his time at Fairleigh Dickinson, he stood out as an exceptional athlete and played lacrosse in a Division I team. He also displayed leadership qualities, earning the presidency of the Sigma Omicron Fraternity.
He subsequently received his juris doctor degree from American University’s Washington School of Law. His background in mechanical engineering served him well in his former position at NAVAIR.
