John Harrison

Based in New Canaan, CT, John Harrison serves as Global Sector Leader for Media & Entertainment (M&E) with Ernst & Young, LLP (EY). With a leadership background in finance spanning two decades, John Harrison provides strategic leadership to more than 8,000 team members across the globe. He pursues proven strategies that emphasize new solutions and drive market growth across four service lines.

Mr. Harrison joined Ernst & Young in 2015 and guided the firm’s global M&E activities within the Transaction Advisory Services practice. He previously served as a managing director in BofA Merrill Lynch’s Technology, Media & Telecom group and oversaw transactions in a variety of sectors, including out-of-home media, publishing, cable networks, and diversified entertainment.

Mr. Harrison has represented a wide range of clients in mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions over the years.

John Harrison has a passion for fitness and enjoys Crossfit and interval training in the New Canaan, CT, area, as well as skiing in the Rockies and New England.
