Since establishing Caydon in 1999, Joe Russo has been active in every stage of property development, from concept to completion. He strives to create buildings that positively impact both the city and the community. The company’s portfolio includes more than 5,000 apartment units, as well as notable projects such as Melbourne’s historic Nylex Clock site and the tallest building in the bayside suburb of St. Kilda.
Mr. Russo is particularly adept at predicting desirable locations and leveraging industry expertise to complete projects on time and within budget. Building up on his success in Australia, he will provide strategic direction for Caydon USA, an expansion into real estate markets in Seattle and Houston. A planned development in the First Hill area of Seattle, for example, will include more than 200 units and will highlight the city’s iconic architecture and aesthetic.
