He focuses on sports medicine and has treated Olympic weightlifters, cyclists, runners, professional dancers, and CrossFit athletes. Dr. Joe Kwait began his career after earning a degree in business and biology from John Carroll University. After college he spent 10 years working in various positions in the pharmaceutical industry. This experience led him to understand that certain types of pharmaceutical medications are over prescribed, especially within the opiate class of pain relieving medications. After this he returned to school to study chiropractic and holistic care. He is a passionate advocate for natural, non-addictive solutions to chronic pain.
Dr. Kwait earned a doctor of chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California where he graduated magna cum laude. After completing his internship he went into private practice in 2009. He currently works as a solo practicioner in San Anselmo, CA in the office of Kwait Chiropractic. Dr. Joe Kwait develops individualized treatment plans that target pain relief and performance improvement without the need for medication.
