An honors graduate of Monmouth University, Joe Hede balances a busy career as an investment executive with a commitment to his family and his philanthropic goals. As a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at Monmouth, he volunteered for events that supported the American Cancer Society and other cancer-awareness foundations. After losing his father to Alzheimer’s disease in 2016, Joe Hede has dedicated himself to raising awareness of the condition and fundraising for organizations, such as the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Committed to his family, Joe Hede spends much of his free time with his son and two daughters at the family beach house. He also enjoys participating in youth sports and taking his son fishing on party boats off the coast of Point Pleasant and Belmar. An avid traveler, he tries to combine his trips with family visits to India, Aruba, and elsewhere.
Professionally, Joe Hede spent over 20 years working in the New York City investment banking industry for companies, such as Paulson Capital Equity and Roth Capital Partners, before moving to New Jersey to raise his family. In 2018, he co-founded Rocket Strategies, a venture capital fund that caters to a clientele consisting of CEOs, serial entrepreneurs, and other executives.
