The recipient of a bachelor's degree in film and electronic arts from California State University, Long Beach, Joe Arrigo began his career as an instructor at Jesuit High School, where he designed and taught a film studies curriculum to grade 6, 7, and 8 students. From 2012 to 2016, Joe Arrigo worked as a sales manager at Sacramento Valley Floral Supply. In addition to delivering floral supplies to local shops, his responsibilities included establishing and maintaining business relationships, filing phone orders, and taking care of company vehicles when necessary.
Joe Arrigo later worked as a legacy energy advisor at SolarCity in Roseville, where he managed a pipeline of more than 50 prospective clients for rooftop solar installations. A proponent in measures to fight climate change, he initially joined the company because he supported its eco-friendly mission.
Since September 2018, Mr. Arrigo has worked as a resource development manager with Modis. This position involves cold calling and emailing prospective candidates for the purpose of staffing IT and engineering firms in Northern California. A self-described "book nerd," he reads upwards of 50 books each year and also enjoys weightlifting, ping pong, and discussing politics and philosophy.
