Over the course of her career, Joann Vu has served in both the collections and copywriting industries. She began working in collections as an account recovery sales specialist with Collection Dynamics in Pennsylvania, where she worked to build and cultivate the company's client base. Working with companies seeking to collect on overdue accounts from other businesses, Joann Vu built a detailed knowledge of collections regulations in all US states.
Joann Vu went on to serve as a product copywriter for Catfish Imports, an e-commerce business operating out of Murphy, Texas. In addition to crafting and editing descriptions for the company's product base, she provided art direction services.
In 2016, Joann Vu transitioned back into the collections industry as a recovery specialist for DC Communications in Philadelphia. She routinely connects with insurers, legal professionals, and clients to support the recovery of account funds, which she pursues using an in-depth awareness of collections practices.
Ms. Vu comes to her work as a veteran of the US Navy, in which she served for five years. During this time, she studied at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she focused largely on business coursework.
