About Me
With a senior management career spanning two decades, Jessamy Tang currently serves on the board of Down Syndrome International (DSi). She joined Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. (now part of the Walt Disney Company), in 1994 and led the transition of ESPN Radio from a syndicated programming provider to a network of 24-7 radio stations. Jessamy Tang negotiated a wireless sports content agreement for ESPN and the network’s first ever interactive television agreement.
Jessamy Tang’s high-profile activity in the Down syndrome sphere stems from the 2009 birth of her oldest child with Down syndrome. In recent years, she has taken the lead in organizing a number of fundraising events on behalf of DSi and Down Syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation (DSRTF), including the 2010, 2011, and 2012 Swing for Hope fundraisers. Numerous corporations and professional athletic organizations have contributed to this event in support of Down syndrome awareness and research. She has also served on the Golf Committee and Dinner Dance Committee for ACDS, formerly known as Association for Children with Down Syndrome.
Ms. Tang completed her management science degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and pursued graduate studies at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
