About Me
An accomplished technology sector investor, entrepreneur, and retired executive, Jeffery Scott Fraser stands out as the two-time CEO of NIC, Inc. The company began as a merger of Kansas Information Consortium, the National Information Consortium, and a number of other organizations, each of which Mr. Fraser founded after receiving his graduate degree in information science in 1991. Jeffery Scott Fraser led the company to its initial public offering and continued to drive its success following a move to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Officially retired in 1999, Jeffery S. Fraser returned to NIC in 2002 to rescue it from the damaging effects of the dot-com crisis. Named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Technology in 2004, he remained in leadership of the company until 2008 and remained on the board for an additional year. He has continued to invest in new business technology companies and has begun studying toward a PhD in business and technology.

A pilot in his free time, Jeffrey S. Fraser holds ATP licensing with jet ratings. In addition to flying, he enjoys participating in bird-dog trials and spending time with his wife and six children.
