An accomplished financial professional with many years of experience in the field, Jeff Drobny currently serves as a principal and chief investment officer with Black River Asset Management in Hopkins, Minnesota. In this capacity, Jeff Drobny oversees investment activity at the hedge fund component of the firm, playing an integral role in the its fixed income arbitrage, commodities, and equity relative value trading activities.
Before undertaking his current responsibilities, Jeff Drobny spent several years with Cargill, where he began as a senior trader in the Financial Markets Group in London. During his time with Cargill, he developed the firm’s North American Fixed Income Arbitrage trading division.
Jeff Drobny holds a master of business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor of arts in economics and philosophy from Union College.
