Management of "Carve out project" for logistic topic and SAP: EDL external platforms for major customers Mercedes, PCA, Fiat, ... to be transferred to new owner Chassis Brakes International under SAP environment

Support to Logistic team in 4 Western Europe closing plants process (France/Spain) and 2 receiving Eastern Europe plants (Wroclaw in Poland /Bursa inTurkey) : in charge of Spain area between Guadalajara aftermarket site ²and Pamplona plants.
Abrantes plant (Portugal) :
- Support of logistic department for SAP logistic parameters
- Clarify root causes of deliveries shortage to customers ; review planning process and negociate overtime production within workshop bottle necks.
Pamplona plant (Spain) : plant closure and production transfer in Wroclaw plant (Poland) and Bursa (Turkey):
- Customer relatinship management during relocation,
- Prepare transfer scenario with sales department, validate and integrate new sites,
- Manage delivery to customers plants based on wharehouse security stocks on 3 external platforms (Tafalla, Pamplona & Bilbao) with security stocks during ramp up in receiving plants
Guadalajara Aftermarket plant (Spain) : plant closure and production transfer in Wroclaw plant (Poland)
- Relocation of aftermarket activity in Poland for Europe with Aftermarket division in Karlruhe

Improvement of Supply Chain inbound process :
- Development of IT tools for Key Performance Indicators in SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW)
- Implementation in european plants
- Tracking of OTD (On Time delivery) and Stock level in SAP BW at all levels
Set up Logistic agreements with suppliers to achieve 100% OTD:
- Meetings at european level with all suppliers to review logistic parameters (including EDI set up) and OTD follow up,
- Follow up with purchasing department of results each month,
- Review with each supplier and each commodity buyer : line capacities and overtime production solution to avoid shortage in deliveries and back up,
Wroclaw plant (Poland) : task force after SAP GoLive
- 12 months support of local team to set up logistic parameters in line with logistic agreements with suppliers,
- OTD follow up and benchmark with others plant,
- OTD improvement from 40 to 90% on inbound deliveries

In charge of Purchasing MM module for European area in Chassis Brakes division:
- Prestudy and study project for new worldwide SAP system with central IT departments in Bosch Feuerbach (Germany),
- SAP process improvement: queries development in relation with purchasing department,
- Euro conversion for suppliers currencies and data completed sucessfully (end of 2001)

- Analyze & audit purchasing performance within organisation,
- Define potential improvement in strategy,
- Develop new supplier approach, design to cost ,

In charge of MRO local purchasing and cross functionnal commodity for Lafarge Ciments central purchasing department

Redesign to cost on serial products with major opportunity of volume increase and businee commitment of customers

In charge of purchasing automatic body assembly lines including robots (75/150 M€/year based on new car program)

set up yearly purchasing policy in line with worldclass suppliers, analyse suppliers market and new car launch to anticipate demand and capacity issues.

As an engine officer : in charge of maintenance and repairing operations of the generating sets and auxiliaries of the ship
As a deck officer/ Mate: in charge of navigation while underway, and of commercial operations when the vessel is at berth.
