Provide a daily "life line" of communication for customers, Regional Sales Managers and the main company in Germany.
Organize and report critical metrics in various Excel formats to management, accounting, Regional Sales Managers, as well as the Inside Sales department.
Constant communication with customers via phone and email to collect vital information, share quotations, keep projects moving along, explain potential issues and often provide guidance in the early states of quoting.
Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers on larger projects (collecting and sharing vital information, maintaining legible and helpful records as the projects progress, striving for unity and cooperation between various departments as projects progress).
Work with other Inside Sales members to work through especially unusual requests or projects and keep each other up to date on product and customer information.
Provide quotations to customers in a timely fashion through various means: basic pricing of standard parts, reviewing previous orders or working cooperatively with the engineering groups in Wisconsin and Germany for custom solutions.
Enter and monitor the progress of customer orders as they make their way through the departments involved. This often includes keeping the customer aware of lead-times, any changes or if anything additional is required from the customer to proceed with an order.
