James Ladd | Portland

A resident of Portland, Oregon, James Ladd most recently served as escalation manager in the retention department at YURZ, a company that is located in the Portland suburb of Beaverton. In this role, he reviewed inbound calls for quality assurance and handled cases that became escalated. Prior to taking on the role of escalation manager, James Ladd was a customer service representative in the same department, where he exceeded weekly and monthly customer account retention quotas.

James Ladd’s experience also includes a role as a risk manager and company officer for Parati Company in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he managed an insurance portfolio spanning 10 entities in five states. He came to Parati Company with a decade of experience in the insurance industry, having worked for Durham & Bates Agencies, Inc., in Portland, and for Northwestern Mutual Life and Travelers Insurance Company in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Ladd holds a BA in English with a minor in history from The College of Wooster in Ohio. In his free time, he participates in a group Bible study at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
