About Me
Over the course of his career as a real estate executive in Southern California, James Kasim has established himself as an industry leader in the region. He completed a bachelor of science in business administration at California State University at Northridge, at which point he became a manager with Ernst & Young’s Kenneth Leventhal Group. In this capacity, James Kasim managed a number of Sarbanes-Oxley internal control projects, identifying deficiencies and addressing them before accounting errors arose.

After returning to school to pursue an MBA at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, James Kasim accepted an offer to become the chief financial officer at Pacific Office Properties Trust. He frequently interacted with the firm’s board of directors and Audit Committee, helping them lead the company through its 2008 IPO. Mr. Kasim also remained integrally involved in company operations such as merger integration and organizational realignment.

When not at work, Mr. Kasim spends most of his time with his wife and son. For recreation, he enjoys cycling.
