During his 30-year career, business executive and philanthropist Jamal Daniel has managed investments in manufacturing, high technology, and property. He currently guides Crest Investment Company as president. Jamal Daniel is also the founder of Al-Monitor, an online Middle Eastern news source. Since debuting in 2012, Al-Monitor has attracted positive attention from established news leaders in both the print and Internet spheres. His interest in media goes beyond journalism to the creative arts, as reflected by his motion picture financing activities with Levantine Entertainment.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Daniel enrolled at Pepperdine University, where he earned a bachelor of arts in business. Following that, he studied in the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a master of business administration.
Jamal Daniel remains very much involved in higher education as an international advisory board member at the American University of Beirut. He also serves on the University of Balamand’s board of trustees as an honorary member.
