Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jacques Guetta has loved the ocean and the shore since he was a young child. He is an experienced surfer and actively advocates for marine preservation, having volunteered extensively with the nonprofit organization Wildcoast. Also a frequent attendee at Wildcoast's fund-raising events, Jacques Guetta has played a role in the organization's efforts to preserve thousands of acres of protected land near Southern California's shoreline.
Now traveling the world as a student of photography, Jacques Guetta uses his travels to learn more about the environment and sustainable energy. He enjoys enhancing his awareness of a cause about which he is extremely passionate, as he hopes to one day use his accumulated knowledge to advocate for environmental preservation on a broader scale.
Jacques Guetta enjoys listening to music in his free time. He favors jazz as his genre of choice, particularly due to the form's improvisational qualities and freedom of structure. In addition, he continues to pursue surfing as one of his favorite forms of recreation.
