A New York City native, Irving Langer completed a master’s degree in psychology and earned his counseling license before transitioning into real estate in 1972 by founding E & M Associates in a shopfront location in Brooklyn. Since that time, Irving Langer has expanded the real estate management company by focusing on tenant satisfaction while seeking out properties with value-added potential for acquisition. Still headquartered in Brooklyn, E & M Associates holds a real estate portfolio that includes more than 10,000 properties both in New York City and across the country.
In addition to his work with E & M, Irving Langer has invested in or founded many other real estate firms, including Galil Management LLC, Zaidy’s LLC, and Saba Raba LLC. A committed member of his community, he serves as a trustee for the Town of Lawrence as well as the chairman of the board of organizations such as Bais Medrash of Harborview and Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel.
Outside of his real estate career, Irving Langer stands out as the author of The Kosher Grapevine: Exploring the World of Fine Wine.
