An Israeli immigrant and resident of Wellington, Florida, Ilan Ferder possesses more than a decade of experience in equestrian sports with a focus on training. Ilan Ferder's career in equestrianism extends beyond training, however, and encompasses success as a rider.
With his longtime friend and business partner Tal Milstein, Ilan Ferder maintains and operates a horse training facility and stables. The two began buying horses in 2002 and established their business in the equestrian field, including facets in Europe. Mr. Ferder handles the US end of business, while Mr. Milstein is responsible for transactions in Europe.
Ilan Ferder’s stables have raised and trained a number of horses that went on to win championship shows, including the Prix French Generali CSI5, the Fidelity Investments Grand Prix CSI 5, and the Hollow Creek Farm Grand Prix CSI3. Championship horses owned by Mr. Ferder's stables include Viva Colombia, an Oldenburg mare that won the 2015 Holiday & Horses Grand Prix CSI 4.
