With a double degree in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design, I regularly keep up to date with industry news and trends and have a particular interest in the implementation of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in product design and mechanical plant and machinery optimization.
As part of a graduation process to obtaining a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, I carried out a practical internship at the corrugated cardboard industry which is equipped with high-tech machinery, I was supervised by both my supervisors (Professor Hamoumi.H.A. and the technical manager of IECO mr K.B.) in designing a computer-aided design (CAD) component for the die cutting and packaging system in the production line of IECO. the process involved the reverse engineering of the already existing part, a material analysis for the determination of the needed surface and chemical treatments for the metal and DFM for the determination of the most suitable manufacturing plan.
