A resident of Canada, Iftach Jacob is a former sergeant of operations with the Israel Defense Forces. A graduate of Israel's High-School system, Iftach Jacob earned the equivalent of a 4.0 grade point average in Chemistry major and he was also part of a five-person robotics team that finished first in a national competition and traveled to Atlanta for the international competition in which they finished third.
Iftach Jacob is interested in subjects that include private equity, venture capital global markets, and emerging markets. He counts entrepreneurs such as Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Bill Gates as inspirations and recently read books on Warren Buffett and Richard Branson.
In his leisure time, Mr. Jacob enjoys watching soccer and basketball. He stays active by running, playing volleyball, and taking CrossFit classes. Community-minded, Iftach Jacob actively supports the UJA’s Run with Israel, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, and the Cardiac Health Foundation of Canada.
