Hilary Agnello leverages more than a decade of experience as an educator to assist with the development of math curriculum and to teach mathematics as a faculty member at McHenry County College, where she serves as an adjunct instructor of mathematics. She has previously worked for schools throughout northern Illinois, including Round Lake Middle School, Crystal Lake Lundahl Middle School, Geneva High School, and Barrington High School. Hillary Agnello is completing her PhD at National Louis University in Chicago, where she previously earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.

In addition to teaching, Ms. Agnello has worked as an instructional coach at Round Lake Middle School. This position involved supporting the professional development of 16 mathematics and special education instructors by evaluating curriculum and developing individualized education plans for the school’s students. While working for the Crystal Lake School District, Hilary Agnello developed the curriculum for advanced students and adapted the curriculum to meet the state of Illinois’ Common Core standards.

Before entering the teaching arena, Ms. Agnello attended Pennsylvania State University, where she played on the national championship-winning volleyball team. A three-time academic All-American, she maintained a 3.45 grade point average while completing her bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
