- Responsible for all stock activities including receiving deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting transactions and maintaining records.
- Controlling all the storage activities with an accurate monitoring (material in/out or FIFO) system.
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile items with purchase order and packing list.
- Generate reports, documents and track damages and discrepancies on the orders received on a daily basis.
- Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purpose.
- Maintain appropriate files to the activities of the unit, such as invoices, order number, receiving date, shipping date, etc.
- Protect and secure the goods until consumed.
- Monitor the quantities available on the stock with a clear picture of the material delivered (to whom and when).
- Co-ordinate with sales department in order to deliver the item approved in each Request for Material (which have been approved by the Operations Manager/ Purchasing manager) and prepare the checkout voucher following the request.
- Inform immediately when the requested item is no more available.
- Performs other related work as required.
- Ensures cleanliness of work areas.
- Prepare reports of warehouse condition and activity.
- Train and develop subordinates, provide appropriate coaching, guidance and supervision to subordinates, and complete annual performance evaluations.
