- Receiving products, maintain stock, documenting transactions.
- Controlling all the storage activities with an accurate monitoring (FIFO) system.
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials and verify items with purchase order and packing list.
- Generate reports, documents and track damages and discrepancies on the orders received on a daily basis.
- Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purpose.
- Maintain appropriate files to the activities of the unit, such as invoices, order number, receiving date, shipping date, etc.
- Protect and secure the goods until dispatched from warehouse.
- Monitor the quantities available on the stock with a clear picture of the items issued or transferred.
- Co-ordinate with sales staff in order to deliver the item approved in each request and prepare the checkout voucher following the request.
- Inform immediately when the requested item is no longer available in stock.
- Ensures cleanliness of work areas.
- Prepare reports of warehouse condition and activity.
- Train and develop subordinates, provide appropriate guidance and supervision to subordinates.
